Togo

In 2016, Saahtain's innovative food solutions reached Togo, a small West African nation facing significant challenges

in food security and nutrition. Working in conjunction with local and international aid organizations, Saahtain manufactured and supplied 55,000 Ready to Eat Meals for distribution throughout the country. This initiative addressed critical needs in a nation where nearly 30% of the population experiences food insecurity, particularly in rural areas. Saahtain's culturally appropriate meal solutions empowered aid partners to provide immediate nourishment to vulnerable communities, support school feeding programs, and assist families affected by seasonal food shortages. The project focused on regions prone to malnutrition, helping to bridge nutritional gaps for children and pregnant women. By offering these specialized food products, Saahtain contributed significantly to humanitarian efforts aimed at combating hunger and improving overall nutrition in Togo, demonstrating the vital role of tailored food manufacturing in supporting development initiatives and addressing food insecurity in West Africa.
